Before you ask for a hint

  1. Write the nearest tower, landmark or coordinate in the group chat.
  2. Put every loose piece, key and tool in one visible staging spot.
  3. Have one player sweep the puzzle while another watches the whole structure from farther away.
  4. Check the all-puzzles index and the relevant tower guide before moving to a new region.

Screen-count puzzle: assign the views first

This is the puzzle Reddit players often describe with a screenshot or a one-word “sorry” post.

Hint 1 — divide the screens

Give each player one screen or lamp angle. Say the screen number aloud so two people do not count the same view.

Hint 2 — count locally

Each player counts the faces or black heads visible on their assigned screen. Do not try to count the whole room from one position.

Full solution pattern

Add every player's local count, then enter the combined total at the console. If the number is rejected, check that one screen was not left unwatched and that a player did not count a reflection or repeat a moving head. The existing Head Count guide shows the same “split the view, then add” method.

Green platform north of the Blue Tower

Steam players have reported a chair, headphones and a button on the green platform north of the Blue Tower, with an audio clue that is easy to misread.

Hint 1

Put one player directly at the chair and headphones while everyone else stays silent. The listener should face the control rather than the surrounding scenery.

Hint 2

Call out the sound direction in short phrases—“left”, “right”, “behind”—instead of describing the whole island. Check the button and the nearby structure after every audio change.

If nothing reacts

Test the headset and voice volume first, then leave and re-enter the puzzle area as a group. The final interaction and exact coordinate remain To be confirmed from a second independent run; do not present a guessed button order as a permanent solution.

Big Walk pegs puzzle near the Yellow Tower

If you searched for the Big Walk pegs puzzle or colored pegs puzzle, players are usually referring to the structure near the Yellow Tower where one peg or stick appears to be missing. The exact final arrangement still needs independent confirmation, but the search problem is repeatable.

Search pattern

  • Walk the outside edge of the structure, not only the obvious table or board.
  • Check behind columns, low rocks and the side facing away from the tower.
  • Put every found stick in the same spot so you can see which shape is still missing.
  • Sweep the puzzle again with a second player looking from the opposite side.

The X-ray item as a required tool and the exact number of pegs are community leads, not confirmed mechanics. Keep that wording in your session notes until a second run reproduces it.

The last piece is missing

When a puzzle has every colour except one, search in this order:

  1. The back of every column and the outside edge of the arena.
  2. The underside of the object that holds the visible pieces.
  3. The area around an egg holder or other large prop where a red piece can blend into the structure.
  4. The route you used to carry the piece in; a player may have dropped it before reaching the board.

Have one teammate climb or step back to change the camera angle. A Reddit group reported spending hours on this because three players searched the same front-facing view.

The five-minute room: do nothing on purpose

If a room starts a long countdown, do not press buttons “to test it”. One press can reset the timer. Keep the group still, let the full timer finish, and only then inspect the exit.

The Blue Tower guide has the route context; this is the short version to share with a teammate who is about to reset the room.

Final puzzle pieces across the island

Community posts describe a final puzzle whose pieces are collected from different parts of the map and brought back together. Treat it like an expedition:

  • Photograph the starting board before splitting.
  • Assign each player a region and a return landmark.
  • Stage every piece at the board before trying to place anything.
  • If one colour is absent, revisit the region rather than restarting the entire world.

The exact piece-to-region mapping is still To be confirmed. Use the 100% guide and Purple Puzzles for the confirmed completion structure.

Weather-balloon and 36-tile puzzles

Community players describe a picture puzzle by the weather balloon whose pieces come from other challenges, plus a difficult 36-tile symbol puzzle beyond the purple tunnel. The complete piece route is not independently verified yet, so use this as a search clue and keep the fourth-piece location To be confirmed rather than guessing.
