Post-Game Guide

Big Walk Purple Puzzles

Track Big Walk's seven purple remix puzzles, understand the post-game unlock, and finish the checklist needed for the full Big Game ending after the credits.

Spoiler warning. Purple puzzles appear after the credits and are part of the complete-ending route. If your group has not finished the first ending, stop at the checklist and return later.

The seven purple puzzles are harder remix versions of challenges you have already seen. They are the largest gap in most launch-day guides because a normal ending run can skip them. Clearing the full set is required for Big Game, not just Big Goodbye. Insider Gaming's ending guide and the game's trophy descriptions agree on that distinction.

Unlock order

  1. Complete the main campaign through the black sphere and trigger the regular ending on the host save.
  2. Reload that same host world and open the large map to confirm the purple challenge markers are visible.
  3. Ride the Green chairlift toward the far eastern ridge station, then enter the purple tunnel just to the right of the station and regroup before starting.
  4. Start the 30-minute house first, then finish the remaining six while its timer runs.
  5. Record the original puzzle name before each remix; the new version may change the timing or route, and finish every marked challenge on the ridge.
  6. Collect any red prize you skipped on the first run, then return to the tutorial-area black sphere with the final key to trigger the complete ending.

The first ending does not require every puzzle. A skip is therefore safe for a story run, but it becomes a cleanup task for 100%.

The seven purple challenges

BigWalkGuide names the seven remixes and their order is flexible — only the Wait 30 Minutes House is worth starting first because it keeps ticking while you do the rest:

ChallengeQuick solution
Wait 30 Minutes HouseEnter the house, start the yellow timer and let the full 30 minutes finish. The party can leave and complete other ridge tasks while it runs.
GolfBring the ball from the original Red-side golf puzzle to the train, ride toward Green Tower, cross the rope bridge and deliver it to the purple flag platform.
Many Lights EverywherePut one caller on the bulbs and one operator on the yellow wall panels. Number the panel zones before starting, then call each lit zone in order.
9 Speakers But You Can't TalkArrange the nine sound objects into a shared grid before starting. Use gestures or window taps to identify the sound while the room blocks normal speech.
9 Symbols But You Can't TalkLay out the symbol plates in numbered positions, then use the same gesture code to point the operator to the matching symbol.
36 DrawingsSpread the drawing plates into visible rows. Describe outline, fill, petal count and stacking order, then revisit only uncertain matches if the win state does not trigger.
Platforming, But Do It FastRemove backpacks, place one player near the first climb, start the timer and pass the heavy object forward while the team boosts each carrier through the route.

Use this as a session log: assign a map lead to own the next purple marker and check it off after success, a caller for the light, sound, symbol and drawing descriptions, an operator who repeats each call back before touching a panel, and a carrier who keeps the ball, timer or heavy object visible during movement. Photograph the map coordinate before moving to another remix.

If a purple item seems to vanish, stop moving the other rewards. Recheck the puzzle, reload the host world and compare the screenshot before declaring the item missing. The puzzle-hints page has the same staging method for a final piece.

How to avoid losing a purple prize

  • Put every completed prize in one agreed staging area.
  • Photograph the map coordinate before moving to another remix.
  • Do not assume a purple prize belongs in the nearest colored tower.
  • If a prize disappears after a disconnect, reload the host's world and recheck the puzzle before declaring it missing.

What we are still verifying

Launch guides disagree on the exact coordinates and reward animations for each remix. BigWalkGuide is the source for the seven names and quick solutions above, but those routes still need a second independent run to reproduce before we call them verified. The reliable facts are the count of seven, their post-game timing and their role in the full ending.

For the rest of the completion route, use the 100% guide and the ending guide. For the base puzzle families, start with the drawbridge, red tower, blue tower, green tower and yellow tower pages.

Where do the purple rewards go?

Recent completion reports say the purple rewards come from post-game remix puzzles and are placed in a separate room with the red rewards that the tower route did not need. Filling that room is reported to produce the final key used on the hidden-ending route, while the normal credits run can still skip puzzles.

This gives the 100% route a practical target: mark every purple reward and every skipped red reward before returning to the tutorial-area black sphere. The official FAQ confirms that Big Walk has a hand-crafted ending, but it does not publish the community room count.

To be confirmed: Community reports converge on 15 slots, but the split is not official: one early report says six purple rewards, while later full-completion reports say seven purple plus eight skipped red rewards. Keep that split To be confirmed.
